The 2024 Rio Carnival festival is set to take place from February 9 February , 2023 in the Marvelous City of Rio de Janeiro. With all the excitement surrounding Rio, the Sambadrome during Rio Carnival will play host the biggest party on the planet!

This is not your typical event where there is no purpose to the event but to just hang out. This is huge competition where different schools (neighborhoods) practice for 8 months out of the year to find out who has the best dancers, floats and more. You can't miss this
We are talking a sea of thousands taking over the bars, the clubs, the restaurants, the pools, the streets and everything else.
Everything is within a 3 minute walking distance from your hotel/apartment. If you need to eat, the restaurants are right there. If you want to get in the pool, it's right there. If you need to shop, the mall is right there. If you need to drink, it's right there. If you need to change clothes, you can practically take a 5 minute stroll to your hotel and you are right there. DO I NEED TO RENT A CAR WHEN I ARRIVE IN RIO
We don't really recommend renting a car. There are buses and taxi cab who are all over the city and can take you anywhere you need to go. Most of the events are within walking distance of the hotel.

DO I NEED A PASSPORT TO TRAVEL TO BRAZIL?
Yes, you must obtain a passport ( if you are from the United States) for entry into Brazil
