What exactly is the Texas Beach Party?
The Texas Beach Party Weekend(a.k.a Kappa Beach Party is one the largest spring break event in the world that takes place every year in April. Around 35,000 students and participants make the annual trek to Galveston, Texas for 3 days full of fun, food, festivities, entertainment, music and more.
What happens at the event?
The actual event occurs on on the boardwalk. All the hotels, clubs, shops,concerts and etc all take place in one area so there isn't a need to drive anywhere to get to your destination.
What type of activities happen during Beach Party?
There are plenty of things to get into during the event. There are clubs, parties and pool events. However the #1 most popular thing to do is to walk along the avenue, meeting new people and watching the largest free customized car show as everyone goes up and down the strip.
You mentioned the concerts. Who will be there for 2008?
Well every year it's different. There are a couple of private promotors who book acts for the weekend. More information on performers will be announced once the official weekend approaches.
